秉持義大利傳統工藝精神，致力於打造具有國際水準的樂器。
身為一位小提琴家，David Lien的旅程始於尋覓一把能夠展現極致音色表現「寶琴」的追求。
這份渴望如今已演變成一項使命-打造不僅能滿足音樂表現力，也兼具藝術價值的提琴。

嚴選材質與工藝傳承
木材：採用阿爾卑斯山松木面板與波希米亞森林楓木背板，歷經多年自然風乾與嚴格挑選。
手工雕琢：由具 20 年經驗的師傅團隊親手製作與校音，確保面板、低音樑與背板達到完美平衡。
音色表現：低音渾厚飽滿、高音甜美明亮、音色穿透而均衡。
傳統漆藝：延續義大利油性漆技術，手工層層塗抹與拋光，使提琴兼具典雅外觀與深邃音色。

系列與等級
David Lien台灣工作室系列以 Stradivari 標準模具 為基礎，並提供 Amati、Guarneri、Montagnana、Carlo Bergonzi、Guadagnini 等名家琴型的客製化製作。

系列共分為五個等級：

Orchestra —— 為樂團需求而設計，音色穩定均衡。

Concert —— 適合音樂會與比賽演奏。

ConcertMaster —— 注重細膩層次與更高音色投射力。

Soloist —— 為專業獨奏舞台而生，表現力極強。

Master —— 系列最高等級，展現極致工藝與音樂表達。

每一把琴在完成後，必經最後的 手工校音。這是 David Lien 系列的靈魂所在，讓樂器從室內樂到音樂會獨奏，都能展現獨特音色個性與強大穿透力。

Origins & Philosophy

Since 2000, David Lien has dedicated himself to violin making in a workshop-based model, rooted in the Italian tradition and committed to creating instruments of international standard.

As a violinist himself, his journey began with the pursuit of a “treasured instrument” capable of the finest tonal expression.

This aspiration has since evolved into a mission—crafting violins that not only fulfill artistic expression but also embody enduring artistic value.

Selected Materials & Craftsmanship

• Tonewoods: Alpine spruce tops and Bohemian maple backs, carefully chosen and naturally aged for many years.
• Hand-Carving: Each instrument is made and acoustically adjusted by a team of master luthiers with nearly 20 years of experience, ensuring perfect balance between the top, bass bar, and back.
• Sound Quality: Deep and resonant bass, sweet and brilliant treble, with clarity, balance, and projection.
• Traditional Varnish: Italian oil varnish techniques, applied and polished by hand with natural materials, giving the instrument both a refined appearance and tonal depth.

Series & Levels

The David Lien Workshop Series is primarily based on the Stradivari model, while also offering custom reproductions of master instruments such as Amati, Guarneri, Montagnana, Carlo Bergonzi, and Guadagnini.

The series is available in five levels:

• Orchestra — Designed for orchestral use, stable and well-balanced.
• Concert — Suitable for competitions and concert performances.
• ConcertMaster — Greater tonal refinement and stronger projection.
• Soloist — Built for the professional solo stage with powerful expression.
• Master — The highest level, representing the pinnacle of craftsmanship and artistry.

Each instrument undergoes a final stage of hand tonal adjustment, the very soul of the David Lien series. This ensures that every violin, from chamber music to concertos, projects a distinctive tonal character with remarkable clarity and power.
